Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. The editor runs in the browser (Chrome or Edge). Programs are created and run from the page itself.

Which LEGO hubs are supported?

WeDo 1.0 (USB) and WeDo 2.0 (Bluetooth), already verified with real hubs. SPIKE Prime/Essential and EV3 are in testing: they work in simulation but have not yet been verified with a real hub.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free and you do not need to sign up or create an account.

Does it work on iPad or with Safari?

No. Safari, Firefox and iPad/iPhone browsers cannot connect to these hubs. Use Chrome or Edge on a computer, or an Android tablet for the Bluetooth hubs.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. Open it once with internet and it will then work offline. It can also be installed as an app.

Is it affiliated with LEGO?

No. It is an independent project by Edurobotic. LEGO, WeDo, SPIKE and MINDSTORMS are trademarks of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor or endorse this site.
